Thank you and goodnight!

He's so unbelievably good. So much melody and a hell of a voice. I've never seen him live......yet but plan to do so the first chance I get.

Empty Glass was a bland and mediocre country song that Stoney took and made into a great country song.

I was actually coming in here to post it.

Actually written by Brandon Jenkins, who is an underrated and excellent songwriter. Brandon is a singer and plays his own shows but I much prefer Stoney's versions of Brandon's songs.

that guy can sing a drinking song. His songs will make you want to belly up and get lost in a bottle

Gary Stewart is ok. His version of that song is not on the same level as Stoney's though IMO.

Gary was past his prime when he did 'Empty Glass', but in the 70's he could kick the shite out of a country song.

Y'all should check out his brother.

Bo Phillips

Blue Dixie Cup

Pretty much everyone out of the Stillwater scene is a cool dude but Bo's a next level type of awesome dude and hilarious drinking buddy.

His version of Red Dirt Girl was on the Texas Music chart most of all last year. He's a good one to have in the rotation.
