Nice. I actually started watching it this summer too and Im towards the end of season 3.
The show is addicting, but my theory has changed multiple times now so i dont what to expect right now

This. And a part of me kinda likes one of my old theories about it being a dream or that hurley is still in the mental instition and its all in his head or this, but im starting to leave this idea as each new episode passes.

-So, I don't buy the Aussie's explanation on the countdown clock, but that was a nice twist
-I do not trust the people that found Sawyer and company. And are they in a similar bunker? WTF
-Great episode for the fat guy. I thought it was awesome how he told Jack let everyone eat the food inventory. He was dead right about how the whole thing would go down.
-I fricking hate the fact Michelle Rodriguez ended up appearing in this show. I fricking hate it.
-And frick Kate for just jacking shampoo from the inventory. She is testing my patience.

I'm so glad that every few months a thread like this starts (I'm not being sarcastic either, I realized it may sound that way). It's always fun to see what people think as they go along

Meet Sawyer below....Best show ever. Our dog came from a breeder who gave the puppies LOST character names. (Just a way to identify them before they get placed). Our dog was actually named Sayid... The Sawyer in the litter was named something else by another family. We couldn't shake the idea that "Sawyer" is a good name for a dog.

We considered Vincent too... Yeah Vincent is a strange name for a dog.
Hurley was also a contender. The pick of the litter was a female named "Kate". I believe the owners kept the name too.

Thanks for the note. An Admin deleted it. Thinking back it probably should not have been written the way it was. You are correct with the "connotation" thing. Anyone who saw the show would know what I was referring to but reading the sentence as it was made it seem inappropriate.

So, I'm finally on season 5. Pushing through to the end. Not really that confused, most of my theories have come true. But I gotta feeling with the introduction of time travel my minds going to be all the place. Btw, and I don't know why but I wish foes and Bernard would disappear to Belize. They annoy me. Sun can tag along with them

One of my favorite series of all time but you would have likely enjoyed it even more following along in this forum during the active series; it was a unique experience to say the least. It was the first time I had ever been so involved in any TV show.

Update, since ya'll like to hear it.
Just finished episode 17 of season 2.
Spoilers below.......
So, Sayid finds the ID of a black Henry Gale after Locke gets his leg crushed. That was the episode. Thoughts so far....
-Gale is an other
-The story with past Locke was pretty sad. It seems he has a habit to trust bad people despite the evidence.
-The episode were the women find the abandoned shelter was clutch. Obviously the French women's daughter saved the sexy aussie
-frick Michelle Rodriguez. I can not believe she was casted on this show.
-Sayid has handled the death of Liam Nelsons's daughter like a boss. He is my favorite character.
-Jack owning Sawyer with a pair of 9's was very funny.
Alright, speculation. Gale never reached the countdown, which triggered the food shute drop found at the end of the episode.
The clock just resets.
The clock is some mechanism of control, perhaps part of the initial experiment.
Also, it's obvious Sun sexed it up with the hotel guy. I don't see how Lin would not think that.
