Has anyone met Drew Brees?

Always wanted to meet the guy and get a pic. Well, I got the closest to that dream Saturday. Saw him leaving the Prytania Theater from a private screening around 10pm last Saturday night. He was standing in the lobby talking to someone and I patiently waited till he finished his conversation and started exiting the building. As soon as I made a step forward, some scrawny manager from the theater interjected and said no. I see it both ways...Drew just wanted to catch a movie with Brittany and not be bothered, but he is a celebrity and all I wanted was a quick pic and handshake. Oh, well. Maybe I can catch him at the Starbucks on Maple one Sunday morning.

My friend met him at a hornets game a few years back. She was on crutches and when she saw him eating in his suite hobbling by her jaw dropped. He saw, stopped what he was doing, and came over to her. Ask what happened and then took a picture with her.

That's too bad! I have an autographed football from him which is my prized possession. Hopefully you'll get to meet him.

No. I'm not worthy.

I bet she soon healed up and didn't need crutches anymore. Drew is magical like that.

Met him and Vilma on my lunch break when they were leaving a press conference at the court house last year. They were both extremely cordial and acted like they weren't anybody special.

I've met him twice. Once at LSU-OSU and another time at Mr. John's. Seemed like a really normal guy.
The national title game he was with Deuce. They were having a great time.

Unfortunately, no, but I know a lot of people who have run into him and only have the best things to say. The guy at Prytania sounds kinda douchy. He should have backed off cause Drew is so easy going he would have welcomed a fan off the street. He's not his bodyguard.

No.
but I've met Sean Payton before.
he was at this bar called Boo Radley's during Senior Bowl week. He had just become the Saints coach a few weeks before. Anyway, gave him a high five and told him how excited I was about the upcoming season. I thanked him in advance for the upcoming season and told him that I was just thankful that the team decided to stay in New Orleans.
I've seen so many coaches and personnel come to town over the years for that game and he has been the only one who I've actually approached. Just seemed appropriate to speak to him at the time because of all that had happened over the months leading up to that with the team.

I wonder why people don't see him out in New Orleans more. You never hear about running into Saints players just in daily life around the city.
Do they have people do their shopping for them all the time or something? Do they ever eat out? Go anywhere?

I've met him three times. Once before the Super Bowl Parade. Another time at the Lions Playoff Game two years ago. And another time in Audobon Park, he lives right on the park a few blocks from me.

I met Cam Jordan, Harper and Sharper out in Lafayette
Cam was super cool. Harper was a bit of a douche, but I've seen him out here quite a few times. One time he was with Terrell Owens.
Wish I could meet Brees
