I haven't "met" Drew but two new year's eves ago Miss Wodie and I were at Tommy's with a group of friends enjoying ourselves when we spotted Drew, Brittany and some other guy making their way right past our table toward the wine bar. I was a bit inebriated so when I looked up and saw them right upon us my mouth involuntarily blurted out "Drew!' I must've said it in a familiar fashion because he stopped and looked back totally expecting to know who it was. Well it was just my dumbass of course which was met with a curious look. Despite my idiocy I reached out my hand and was able to muster "have a great new year my man". He politely shook my hand, thanked me and went off. I still laugh about it to this day.
I also met Greg Williams at Monkey Hill about three years ago. Decent guy with some good stories despite the later Frisco fiasco.
Unrelated but met Eric Gordon about two weeks after he signed with Nola. Dude was a giant cock.

see thats interesting to me because I met Harper at Lucy's (could be the atmosphere or a few drinks) talked to him for about 15-20 minutes just shooting the breeze and he was very nice and extremely cool
I met Drew Brees a few times and to be honest he was VERY stand-off-ish...it was not a very dense area of people the times I saw him and it wasn't awkward to talk but when I went to talk to him he wasn't interested in the slightest...I think he knows thats his "persona" is the nice guy so he forces it but to me he seemed kind of irritated having to talk to people

I saw him and his family just acting all civilian at city park once. While I was screaming like a teenage girl on the inside, I just let him be. I didn't want to be that guy.

Got his book autographed by him when he was in Baton Rouge one summer.

My girlfriend met him in the airport and he was very friendly and more than happy to snap a photo. He was on her flight flying coach five rows in front of her. She said he was chatting with the people in line to board the plane like it was no big deal.
I got his autograph at practice. He stayed forever and signed a zillion autographs. He must have been signing for a straight half hour. Really nice dude. I was so impressed that he signed everybody's autographs that day.

My gf and I met Ingram and a few other players, including Sproles and Greer. My gf went over to ask for a picture and they all said no they couldn't and got up to leave, all except Ingram. He was very nice about it and posed for two pics with her.

I 'met' Joe Horn when he was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame. His handlers were trying to get him to leave, but he refused to until he shook everyone's hand.

Friend of mine works for the Saints. Blew my mind one day when he was like...yeah, I talk to Drew everyday. Had his home phone number, etc.

Should have told him you were a Bama fan or some shiz. Stuck around in LA for the Saints game after Bama-LSU this past season. It was one of his better games as a Saint. He was really cool as I never met him while at Bama. Way shorter than I imagined.
