I really like how Cameron handles the Media.

Don't get me wrong, I love CLM, but his press conferences can be mind numbing. I mostly find his rambling and unique speech patterns to be quite humorous, but lots of times I just want him to cut to the chase. The Chief is just all business and coachspeak in his interviews, which is pretty much par for the course when it comes to coaches.

Cameron's turn with the Media Sunday I found quite refreshing. He doesn't mince words much, he imparts good information without revealing too much and he has a nice sense of humor.

I particularly like the way he addressed what he knows is a big "hot button" issue with the LSU fanbase. Our more impatient fans have long attributed LSU's lingering offensive troubles to CLM's "meddling" with the offensive play calling.

I thought he was quite eloquent in describing the "play calling, game planning" process, not only on the LSU staff but every staff he has ever been on. If you haven't watched it yet, it's worth going back to check it out. It's already been posted on TD a couple of times.

He's definitely smooth with the media. He was an NFL head coach so he's used to dealing with media hacks.

I also like the way Cameron handles the offense. He's a very smart individual.

He sounded just like Saban when he was talking. His accent, diction, everything.

I went back and listened to him when was in Baltimore and he didn't sound the same. He was more jovial in his responses. It might have just been the different press conferences and the mood that he was in at the time, but in Baltimore, he was being attacked for doing things wrong. That press conference yesterday, he was like a zen master.

I am not saying that he tried to emulate Saban, but he did sound like him and was very much in command.

Weird.

The man has had his fair share of rabid fan bases to answer to.
