Enjoyed the first episode. I'll definitely be watching further. Anybody else give it a watch?

If the critics only saw the pilot, then they were too harsh. It has a lot of room there, reminds of The Shield, obviously.

I saw in a couple other threads it had been blasted, but I chose not to read the articles so I could form my own opinion without people picking apart specifics I would notice. I think it ends up being one of those shows with a few meh aspects, but I liked episode 1. Cool story.

I just think it's death sentence is that it's almost being force fed to us on the heels of breaking bad. Like last night I witnessed such greatness, then since I was held hostage to see next weeks previews, I tried to give it a chance, and it just felt flat.
I know it's not fair to compare the 2, but that's what's happening in this circumstance. They should have tried this show early in the summer, after the killing or something

I liked it. The only thing I was unclear about is why they killed the cop. Something to do with a hooker? Can anybody fill me in?

I really like Lennie James as an actor and have since Jericho. I want him to have a vehicle to display his talents, but this ain't it. It's another derivative bad cop show.

Just watched the first episode about to watch the second. I think it has great potential. It seems like a lot of the negative reviews were due in large part to the bleakness of the show. For me that's a selling point. Show seems to have solid actors and room for a compelling story. I'm in.
I love that James Ransone is in a show again. I hope he turns out to be a significant part of the story.

keep seeing the damn preview forced on me during breaking bad...kind of keeping me away from it, guess I'll give it a chance eventually
