Maybe I am the only one who thinks this looks good!

That was my grandfather's job in the war. Acquiring, cataloging and transporting Nazi spoils of war like statues, gold, paintings, sculpture etc.
Kept him from getting shot at that often.

does anyone else want to see this movie, and then see the exact same movie, except directed by Quentin Tarantino?

Looks great. I've been excited about this movie since I heard about it.

quote:It could have gotten 5+ Oscar nominations if this was a QT film. Still, I could see Clooney/Damon getting a nomination for best actor seeing as this was a very down year for cinema IMO.

Bump - this movie looks awesome and like the OP says looks to have a great cast. Anyone else excited?

Looks mildly interesting, but I will not pay to watch this movie since Matt Damon is in it.

There was a big write up about the REAL unit in Smithsonian last month. Very cool. Will definitely see this.

Tarantino makes deliberate trope movies.

What's the objection to Matt Damon?

I have heard very very good things about the book as well. Movie looks great

The book was excellent. I am very ecstatic about this movie and cannot wait for the premier

I just can't stand that very outspoken liberal POS. To boot, every singly movie he makes seems to have a really liberal agenda, with his latest (Elysium) being the worst yet. Jamie Foxx and Matt Damon are the only two actors I boycott.

True, and his ideal politcian in his wet dream movie The Ides of March was pretty sickening, but his personality is not nearly so grating to me.

Oh boo hoo, I don't like that guys politics I won't see his movie...
