Maybe for concealed carry. There is a question on the CC app about treatment for mental disorders. I don't remember exactly how it is worded.

Thank you for your service,

It is the Feds you have to worry about.

Hell, PTSD (now just called "PTS") can be experienced by anybody from a wide variety of experiences from criminal attacks to car wrecks. Not just considered a vet thing anymore.

No law against it. In fact Louisiana has one of the more forgiving language for pro 2A constitutional rights.

Best place to buy - from another person if you are a LA resident.
No background check, no FFL, usually better prices. check out [link=(BayouShooter.com)]BayouShooter.com[/link] classifieds.

Look at Jim's Firearms for folks with some knowledge but high retail prices. Otherwise Academy

I think you will be just fine. Have you been medically diagnosed with it? If not just don't put down that you have it and you will be good. Thanks for your service and I hope that you feel better soon

Thansk for serving our country.PTSD is bad news if not treated properly. My dad had a bad case of it and was never able to overcome it.Glad to hear you are being treated and hope you heal in time.

I think the level of PTSd and co-related depression would come into play at some point.

not sure La has any gun purchase restrictions, or any restrictions otherthan felons not being able to possess.

Feds prescribe the background check when purchasing.
