You eat the oyster, the bacteria then eats your lower intestines from the inside out.\
Think twice about it.

Only the lower intestines? I'll take 2 dozen with extra horseradish please.

You live your life doing everything the "safe way" like all the "experts" advise, and you get cancer anyway.
I'd rather think once and enjoy my life and all that it offers.

Wasn't there a famous Cajun comedian who punched out after getting this from eating some oysters?
If I remember or rectory it was 7-10 years ago or so....

You just want people to eat cereal. Well I like boo-berry better anyway.

Let me see if I get this right.
I'm taking advice on what to put in my mouth from Count CornChocula?

It's estimated that in ten years literally 1/3 of all children will suffer from diabetes.
There may be some bigger issues to be concerned over than raw oysters.

I grew up eating raw oysters every other day (Abbeville).
They lie, people die.

How are you still with us?

I'm with you....I will only eat raw oysters in cool/cold months. Summer & early fall are for oyster stew, fried oysters, etc.

My mother is a microbiologist specializing in BacT,and I had this drilled in my head my whole life.
Just know who you're buying them from during the warmer months.
I've been eating raw oysters all my life as well, and since the advent of coolers, most of this is blown out of proportion.
