Do high schools in most states start fall football practices Monday?

In TX, at least where I live, they start practice Monday, actually two-a-days for most smaller schools.
I know someone who lives in LA will let me know about that state, but if anyone knows about states, even outside the South/Southwest/Southeast, it would be nice to know.
Also, do very many of them have two-a-days. In TX, a few even have three-a-days.

Pretty sure Ohio starts practice this week, two a days later in the week (probably varies by school though). Our season starts late this year though, usually its the weekend before college football starts but its the same weekend this year.

Georgia started Friday a week ago, but mandatory two-a-days were effectively banned by the GHSA last year.

For most schools in Georgia, 2 a days start tomorrow.

The GHSA banned mandatory two-a-days last year after a couple of players died from heat related issues. Schools can still have them, but they can't count it against an athlete if he doesn't attend. Three-a-days were completely banned.

Gotcha, for GISA though, the rules aren't quite as strict as most schools will have 2 a days this week, which is more to what I was rendering to in my post.

Only time we ever had two a days at central when I played a couple years ago was bootcamp, which was like 4-5 days long
think they banned 2 a days for the most part. hell they banned fricking Spring games

I think we start play the 16th in Ak. They've been practicing. Usually start the first weekend of August, starting a week later this year.

They're already playing the season in some northern states.

We usually start in early/mid August and only play 8 games.

Texas schools only start tommorrow if they didn't have spring football. If a school had spring football they don't start until next Monday

Good point--seems like it is mainly the 5A schools in the larger school districts that have spring football in TX.
One coach told me several years ago there are too many athletes in the smaller schools that play multiple sports so most schools don't have spring football practices.

Yes, football in Louisiana starts tommorow. 2 a days were taken away about 3 years ago if I recall correctly.
You can still meet twice a day and even practice with no pads, but full out two a day practices are out.

We had 3-a-days in Alabama when I played like 3/4 years ago, I'm not sure if they still allow that or not. And I think they start Monday as well.
