Ashley Fox instigating:
quote:

The simmering tension over Riley Cooper's racial slur will inevitably cost the embattled Eagles receiver his job, writes Ashley Fox.

But the exact same story quotes Coach Kelly saying:

quote:

"There's never been any question of cutting Riley," coach Chip Kelly said Friday.

Why would she say its inevitably going to cost him his job when his damn boss just refuted that. In the same damn article. She must be Skip's offspring.

ESPN is a tabloid now. In 10 years it has become a huge joke. Not even worth watching or reading anymore.

That's absolutely right, but she works for a news organization. She should only write about the news and not whatever the hell she thinks is going to happen.

ESPN tries to dictate sports. Enough with it.

No, she works for a place that wants so hard to be a news organization, but never will be because of idiots like her and skip bayless who know one takes seriously or cares about their opinion. I really wish they would at least try and go back to being a sports network...watching the This is Sportscenter special really made me miss the old days when they didnt have an agenda, and they just did highlights, damn good highlights.

Just about every single writer at ESPN writes columns on their opinions or predictions. Why should she be different?

Ok, but you don't think it's a bit misleading that she basically says it's set in stone that Riley is gone? When he fricking isn't?

You're crazy if you believe the media will force him off the team.

If his teammates don't want him there, and right now it seems that way, he isn't going to last.

The media is not at fault for this guy making his work environment toxic.

Actions have consequences. Too bad so sad.

Honestly if I'm the coach it's not even a question. I cut the guy. Not worth the distraction for the team.
