I see Frank Thomas getting a higher percentage than Biggio did though and Biggio almost got in

Biggio was better than FT

I think Griffey, Jr., Maddux, and Johnson should be first ballot HOF.

I consider Maddux and Johnson to be no doubters and I think that anyone who doesn't vote for them should have their voting rights pulled

Maddux and Johnson the only two for sure, but they all have a
good chance.
good chance.

Only Astros fans would think this.

Do people really think Griffey Jr isn't a sure thing 1st ballot HOF?

they are all 1st ballot HOF'ers, imo

I definitely think Griffey is first ballot. If injuries don't get him, there's no telling what kind of numbers he ends up with. But you never know with some of these writers. Some try to make a point.

All of them but frank will be a close call

Disagree strongly with the Biggio was better than FT thought. FT was scary good in his first eleven seasons (as highlighted by two MVPs and his ridiculous OPS run between 1991 and 1997)
You can really make an strong argument for Thomas as a first ballot guy

I think all will be first ballot. I think there is no chance that Griffey, Johnson, and Maddux do not get inducted on the first ballot, a slight chance that Pedro does not get in right off the bat, and a below average chance for Frank Thomas not to make it.
Maddux could have one of the highest vote percentages ever and I think Johnson and Griffey but will be extremely high, too.

I could see Pedro's vote being closer than it should be. I could see a few voters not voting for him because of his lower wins and innings pitched totals. All should be unanimous Hall of Famers.
