I'm the same way. Always pumped for preseason week one just because football is back. By preseason week 3 I'm completely disinterested until the regular season kicks off.

Yeah. I just can't get into a bunch of 4th strings and DFA's knowing that none of them are going to make the team.
The offenses and defenses are so terribly vanilla which makes the games god awfully boring.

It's worthless unless you are a diehard of one of the teams and can't wait to see the new pieces/young players/rookies for yourself. I can only take so much twitter and written practice reports.

He also had a minor back surgery in the offseason. I don't blame them for being cautious.

He wanted to play in it though. It would have been nice to get 1 drive out of him
