Wow, I wish I still had all of mine. I remember those awesome strategy guides they'd do for popular games like Super Mario Bros 3 and Ninja Gaiden 2.

I didn't come with the lot, I guess he lost it. It was $200.

Ha! I had that issue. That's also a great co-op NES game, FWIW.

Nice! First set of magazines that I got was EGM, so I missed out on all of that.

I think my parents threw all of my old EGMs out when I moved out. It's sad, I had a good 7-8 years worth.

It feels pretty awesome to pick one up and read what the best games were back in the day.

And I loved EGM for the great writing and articles. I don't know it's all rose-tinted glasses, but I never laughed harder at any gaming media and news. Looked forward to it every month.

Got to understand a collector's mindset. If I grew more of a Nintendo fan, I'd probably have put down that in a heartbeat.

As a kid reading EGM, I will always remember the editor "Dan Hsu".

I remember him, Shane, Suttner, and Seanbaby (guy who went out of his way to review awful or retro games).
