How good can Mettenberger be?

This good:

LINK

What an incredible performance. Last year's simplistic, crude offensive system obscured Mettenberger's true potential, in my estimation. He has the skill set and physical tools to be exceptional, as he demonstrated against Alabama in Tiger Stadium.

Cameron, a legitimate NFL offensive coach, may be able to elevate Mettenberger's play to an elite level. Our offense has to improve if we are going to compete for an SEC title this season.

I'm hopeful.

I'm not, let's pack it in before this disaster of a season begins.

LOL. I try to ignore that part. I ran across this video yesterday and it was the first time I watched any highlights from that game whatsoever since I sat in the SEZ and witnessed the debacle live.

I was pleasantly surprised by Mett's clips. We should have won, damn it.

He has his weaknesses, but before coming to LSU he was believed to have a very high ceiling.

After a year on the practice squad people expected him to tear it up.

He struggled early, but to be fair the whole offense did.

With an injury fee veteran line I think he can come in and put up some great numbers.

He just needs to be more consistent. If he can learn to play the same on the road as he did at home last year, then he'll have a huge year, stat wise.

He's not mobile. He can be average if he sets his mind to it. We curse our quarterbacks somehow.

I think he put to much pressure on himself to carry the offense. He probably couldn't trust his line, and the guy took some shots.

This probably explains some of those goal line picks where he just tried to force the ball.

Way too pessimistic, in my view. Mettenberger has the physical talent required to be well above average.

Because they finally had quit playing musical chairs up there. Those early games saw what 5 or 6 different lineups?

God, I know man. I will never forget being in that stadium, and never feeling like we were going to win until that last drive. When Beckham caught that ball on the 30 yard line with only a few minutes left, I finally felt like we would win.

And then it all came crashing down. Then I had to drive back to Hoover, Alabama......

I remember my Bama friends and co-workers condeded that LSU was better that night and dominated the game. That lasted all of about 3 days. Then they forgot, and Bama and LSU were "worlds apart" Saban is smart, Miles is stupid, Bama is Elite, LSU is just average.

I pray we go to T-Town and shut them up. Poetic Justice, would be going into T-Town with 1 loss, and Bama being undefeated, LSU winning head to head convincingly, and getting into the SEC Championship game, while Bama sits at home. LSU wins the rematch with Georgia, LSU plays Clemson in the title game and destroys them.

ALL DEBTS PAID IN FULL.

What a dunce. Even the announcers repeatedly comment on the difficulty of some of Mett's throws. He completes passes under pressure, rifles far hash to sideline out-routes against one of the nation's fastest defenses, and of course makes a perfect, pinpoint pass to OBJ down the sideline.

STFU.
