Yea they did the Lochmann and anterior drawer on the sideline...intresting side note, they can to an arthrocentesis and recent studies have shown if blood is aspirated its 80% likelihood that the ACL is torn...thats how my doctor diagnosed mine, but i got the MRI anyway and sure enough, torn acl

This poor guy can't catch a break. I just want him to actually be able to get a break from being injured to have some joy in his life again.

From what I know and read about Stu, he'll have joy in his life no matter what. He always has the right attitude.

Jesus Christ that's awful. Really puts your crap in perspective. We complain about how bad off we have it but this kid is a modern day Job. Just gut wrenching.

Lachman's ACL test.

sensitivity = .86
specificity = .91

I agree with that. I'm just reacting to the heartbreaking shot they had of him on the sideline. It just sucks to see someone who has had so much let down recently begin the process all over again.

wtf. Are you Wolverine? You're really not supposed to play in games til 9 months because of cutting.

I just tore mine. They said minimum 9 months but probably more like 12. Stu is an athlete who will have the best rehab at his disposal so he should be able to have a good timeline.

But jesus Christ this couldn't be more depressing.

Y'all really think he will play again?

As bright as he is, I could see him transitioning to something else now.

I hope he starts working on his coaching badges. Two ACL tears in the same knee just seems extreme.

This is awful news. I hate seeing anyone tear an ACL or suffer any other injury, let alone two. Stu doesn't deserve this.

This sucks but he can come back in time for pre-world cup friendlies if he's all there mentally.

Also this shows people once again it doesn't matter if someone walks off the field. That happens all the time with a torn ACL.

I think we tried that already. He won't be physically ready.

At this point, I just hope Stu doesn't have to stoop to the lowest of the low to come back:
