In honor of National Wing Day, I'm going to fry some boneless wings tonight.

I've got a few solid recipes for sauces, but none for dry rubs.

Any suggestions?

I usually hit them with a random mix of salt, black pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder.

The Spicy Ranch they do at Pluckers is pretty good. I would imagine its just ranch powder with added seasoning.

I would toss them in the rub after you fry them. Otherwise you will burn the rub and your oil.

Ive actually wanted to try something similar for a while. Season the wings with light s&p and ranch mix before i grill them, then toss in wing sauce. It sounds like it would work to me. I usually just use slap yo mamma prior to grilling.

Im sure tossing fried wings in ranch mix would come out awesome.
