Understand he is suspended for now. Assuming things work out favorably for Hill and his legal problem, will he be suspended from practice with the team and workouts. Or will he just be penalized by not getting to play in a couple of games. Also what is his scholarship status does he continue to get free ride on tuition etc. Since he lives in athletic dorm does suspension get him removed from living there?

If probation remains in effect, Miles will likely reinstate Hill... will probalby be suspended at least for the opener against TCU but will be able to practice with the team again.

As for his current situation, suspended does not mean that his scholarship is revoked nor does it evict him from the on-campus apts.

He's still a student.

This is not to be confused with participating in team workouts.

Miles mentioned in a recent interview that he is not involved in any team activities including meetings and workouts.

Correct. After the hearing, I doubt there will be any formal announcement of Hill's status. We'll know from practice reports if/when Hill returns to team activities.

of course it's not a team activity, it's an individual workout

I just wanted to clarify. I never assume that rantards understand the difference.

Gotta love people that act like they are in the know and have any sort of clue as to what they are talking about.

I am not claiming any insider knowledge. Just a prediction...I hope I am wrong.

I'm not sure why you specifically singled me out with your post.

I'm perfectly fine with Blue, Hilliard, and company dashing and gashing this fall.

It's obvious Miles is waiting for the outcome of his probation hearing. If he was going to be dismissed based on the information already out there, it would already be over with.

Hill won't report with the team on Sunday and won't see the practice field until he clears his probation hearing and passes his conditioning tests.

Here is what I am hopeful for regarding J Hill.

-This stuff gets straightened and out and he gets allowed back on the team.

- Miles hands out a 1-3 game suspension, but Hill is practicing.

- Blue and hillard absolutely tear shite up in the games hill is suspended for and Hill's PT is limited to garbage carries at the end of games.

- Hill realizes he isn't untouchable and if he fricks up he can be easily replaced. Hill turns it up a few notches and pushes us to a great finish of the season.

Logic would say if Les was going to suspend Hill for season would already have announced. Players report Aug 4 and practices begin Aug 5. Delay in any decisions was to see if there is another shoe to drop for Hill. If he remains only on probation Hill will get 1 - 3 game suspension. I would be mildly suprised if more than that.
