As someone who is incredibly green to the soccer scene just wanted to get a pulse on the soccer board's favorite teams, their location, and their season's start time. Would be greatly appreciated.

Will be rooting for what appears to be a very average ADO Den Haag franchise myself out of the Hague, Netherlands. Their season, and the Eredivisie league as a whole, doesn't start until Aug. 2-3.

There's a ton of us Arsenal fans... almost as many Liverpoolites, a good number of Chelsea fans, some United fans, a few Spurs fans, and then like 1-2 of a couple other random clubs. also a small number of Bundesligians. Dandy is our resident La Liga fanatic, and WM72 our Serie A expert.

Any reason why Americans lean so heavily towards English teams? Cultural / historical / ancestral / connections? Or because there are a number of powerhouse English clubs?

I'm going to try to watch more Serie A this season. I think Fiorentina could surprise. Like the moves they've made and Montella could become an elite manager.

Also going to try to follow more La Liga and Bundesliga. I will finally get bein in the fall so I'll tape more games.

Language and availability. EPL matches are easy to find on US channels

Availability of coverage and same language mostly.

I'm also partial towards Borussia Dortmund but that's a distant second behind Arsenal because I have to stream almost all of their matches.

Americans like the best, English speaking, easily accessible, the most big names, most competitive/exciting, the least flopping around...

Nice, I try to watch as much as possible. Some say it's boring, I love how tactical it is, a purists league imo.

Another Spurs fan here. I'm working my way into Bundesliga fandom and have narrowed it down to a few teams with Bayer Leverkusen leading the race.

I've seen you in the Spurs season thread before.

Anyone but Bayern Munich.
