Most every truck with black rims that I have seen has some other aftermarket stuff, such as; lift kit, enhanced exhaust, etc., and is badass.

I like black aftermarket wheels on a truck if its the right color. For instance my current truck is gold. I'm not putting black wheels on a gold truck. It has chrome decor from the factory and it would clash

They look good when they are small and have a dull finish and are wrapped in some big nasty mud grips. They look low maintenance and practical.

When they're obnoxious, huge, shiny, and have low profile mud tires on them, they look like shite. It's just pimping your truck. Buy a car, you don't need a 4x4.

The epidemic of the ones with the big gay star center cap around baton rouge has gotten out of hand.

Those are the worse.

Sorry DT1. I love your truck. I hate your rims.

I will never own anything but black rims going forward. Put them on and forget about them.

That's what I've done with every rim I've ever owned.

Depends on the truck...

I'm not a fan of black trucks with black wheels. Too much black for my tastes. Pretty much any other color with black wheels looks pretty bad arse. Also, depends on the wheels too. 17" black steel wheels = Blaaahhhhh.

I really like Pepperidge's set up on his truck. (His sig pic)

Yeah I prefer 20' inch black rims vs 17 or 18's.

I like them for easy maintenance and scratch repair.
