My wife puts newly cleaned dishes at the bottom of the stack in the cabinet. This way, all dishes are being used/rotated. I think this is OCD, she thinks I'm lazy. We both think everyone else does it our way.

Help me out.

We have assorted color plates and bowls, and I make sure no two same colors are touching. I don't rotate the bottom up though.

If they are all clean, what difference does it make?

This has never crossed my mind. Sounds like some OCD lives in your house.

Hmmm, I usually do stack the clean ones right on top, but I also reverse the stack about every 6 mos.

You can see through our cabinets, so it's sort of on display. It's not that nutty.

Should have told the wife to stop slouching before I took the photo...

Would you want one or two of your plates to wear out before the other 18 do? I would certainly hope not!

Did your wife or does she work retail? That's something you do selling products but I would never dream of doing that with my dishes

I have never rotated dishes. Unless beer glasses count, I take from one end and add to the other.

I can understand her thought process but no I don't do that. Does she do it w/ the flatware and glasses too?
