Yea, no way even Heyward could have scored on that. Gattis pissed on that ball though, good to see 0-2.

I'm so tired of Simmons' fricking pop ups with a guy on third and less than 2 outs

It seems like a really simple fix to me and it's starting to concern me that we are seeing no adjustments from him at all. He swings so hard he loses his balance, which prevents him from squaring the ball up 90% of the time, which results in a shite ton of swinging bunts, routine grounders, and pop ups.

That's exactly it. The pitch before he popped up he swung so hard at a first pitch off speed pitch that he nearly fell over. That's really not what he needs to be doing first pitch in that situation.

Guys with his body type aren't supposed to hit a ton of HRs, and it's really not all that tough of a fix to make.

Which was a pop up he just got the barrel on and hit out. Which is what I'm worried about, he's getting good results from a flaw in his swing and the good results will only last so long

So what are we now with RISP in this game? 0-10?
