I am looking to buy a pop-up camper

I like the atmosphere, kinda like a tent but with all the amenities of a camper. I've tent camped for years and want the luxury of AC and heat. Can anyone recommend the best "bang for the buck". TIA

I've got one. It's neat but can be a hassle at times. If its raining when you put it down, open it up immediately after you get home and let it dry out or you will be fighting mildew/mold forever.
Steer away from the Coleman ones with the ABS roof. I forget what years had them but they were prone to severe cracking/rotting.
I haven't heard any bad about the other brands such as Jayco, Viking, and Fleetwood.

We love ours. Easy to tow and is as close to tent camping as you can get. A toilet is a huge plus, but showers take up a lot of room. Buy a used one and spend around $5K on it to see if you like it.

take a look at a trial manor LINK / I wanted a popup - but the wife wanted a little more. Found one of these and it has been great. hard sides, easy up and down, same weight range. really enjoy it at the campgrounds.
