Thinking about adding a new 1911 to the arsenal and wanted to poll the OB on the SR1911. Thanks for the comments, guys.
Also, I see that the Ruger MSRP but I am curious as to what the ON collectively has seen in person as it relates to retail price. Will be shopping in Texas if that helps.

I've seen or read about them for as low as $629 outside of Louisiana. Here they are usually $750ish. I got mine for $629 at this joint in Kentucky. After shipping and transfer it was still only $674.

Amazingly smooth. I shot a commander SR1911 for the first time last week and it was really slick. Amazing quality.
Highly recommended.
