I've seen bigger.
No shite. Like, way bigger. Brother killed it, we went out in a canoe to get it because we knew nobody would believe it then when we got up to it neither one of us would touch the thing to put it in the boat.
We were like 12 or 13 years old or so so we tried to pick it up with boat paddles but of course it slid off the log into the water.
It was the thickest snake I've seen in the wild and it was longer than 6 feet easily. Looked like a fricking python up on the log but when he shot it it flashed that mouth open and bit itself so he shot it again and took the head mostly off.
Most unnerving thing ever realizing they could get that big.
