Which one to start watching? Breaking Bad or Dexter

Been considering trying out one of these series from the beginning. I'll probably wind up watching both, but which one should I have a go at first?

Dexter is good but it has really good seasons and stupid ones.

Breaking Bad, easily
You have plenty of time to catch up. S1 and S5 are short (7,8 episodes). The only seasons with 13 ep. are 2,3,4

Honestly, I like BB, but it's one of the more overrated shows out there

breaking bad...less episodes and much better series...Dexter has up and down seasons...BB is on a nonstop incline from start to finish *fingers crossed*

Slight thread hi-jack. I've seen BB, but I want to watch Dexter. Where do I watch it? I have Showtime but when I searched OnDemand shows, Dexter is not available.

The only problem with Breaking Bad is the "Fly" episode. Other than that...
