2 oz of Chinook (green) and 1/4 oz of vine dried Chinook (brown) of 1 bine.

My Cascade is just starting to form cones and my Nugget and Magnum haven't formed any cones yet.

That's really cool that you're growing your own hops.

Got any pics of your pot plants?

Damned caterpillars just started chewing on my basil. They're in for a rude awakening when they get a belly full of BT

What's up with the Vine drying?

Here's some cascade cones. Everything else is a few months behind but these cones are coming along.

Are they real oniony or petrol product like?

Seem to be ok aroma wise. Not as strong as the green ones though. I put them in the freezer and will check them later.

Are you in BR? I would love to know what you did. A buddy and I tried half heartedly a few years ago with no success

I am in Dallas. But people on here are growing hops in south la.(See s14suspense pic above) Ya'lls soil is certainly better for growing anything than ours. Basically, you need to fertilize and water like you would tomatoes. I fertilize with composted cow manure I buy at lowes every 3 weeks or so. And use a liquid seaweed fertilizer every 2 weeks. It takes 2 years to get a decent crop.
