The Flash is my favorite hero, but I've never been able to picture how his superpower would transfer over to the big screen.

A Superman/Batman film for the MoS follow up is a terrible idea. The follow up needed to be a more thoughtful, smaller scale film with more focus on the character. Oh well.

Scruffy just connects with the Flash on so many levels.

I just hope they find a different guy to play Superman and Batman in these films. It's just not going to work to have Batman and Superman in this same universe.

The Man of Steel was the first film in the new DC Universe. They just have to find a new Batman.

I agree with this. Also, shouldn't the new Batman stake a claim out there before jumping into a team up film? Just my 2 cents.

Fans will be getting the Batman/Superman film they have been clamoring for, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter. Man of Steel director Zach Snyder is reported to take the helm. While it seems that Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the film, no actor for Batman has yet been rumored. Man of Steel scribe David Goyer is set to pen the script.

Also rumored: a Flash film for 2016 and a JLA movie for 2017.

The Warner Bros. panel is happening at San Diego Comic-Con, and full details are expected to be released then.

They're going to shite the bed by simply trying to keep up with Marvel.

Which is stupid because Marvel has already beaten them to the punch by a couple years

The only way to gain that ground back is to simply make a better product than what Marvel is. Which would involve taking your time

Studio execs will never be that patient but you're right about that being the best way to do it.

Oh well. It is what it is. I'm jacked up about a Flash movie.

OML, why do you think they need to recast Supes? Cavill was pretty good, IMO.

MoS had plenty of easter eggs suggesting the existence of other DC characters.

As far as the lineup, MoS2 should have been next.

Not necessarily true.

I think there is more than one way to start a cinematic universe for comic books. Marvel had to do it the way they did it because no one had heard of those characters before. Everyone knows who Batman and Superman are.

Oh, Cavill was great, I just don't want the Justice League universe to directly intersect with Snyder's Superman universe, but that's clearly not going to happen. They are going to royally frick this up.

Expand please? Didn't care for MoS as a film or the universe it created? Obviously those two entities can be separate.

personally, I think a proper DCCU starts with characters like the New Gods, Guardians, and Multiverse/ SpeedForce.

Also, I wish Booster Gold/Rip Hunter would get a movie in this go round.
