I can't see them having a Superman/Batman movie ready to go in two years. I hope I'm right about that.

It's a good thing that one of the best writers in Hollywood is on this and not OML. You are such a miserable hack with no vision or imagination.

Silly me, I forgot how close you and Nolan were. Did you have creative input on this, GCA?

How was Superman an a-hole in MoS?

As much as MoS frustrates me, I don't see how he was particularly being an a-hole either.

Right after the MoS premiere, Goyer said he was told to get working on the script, that should be done in the next couple of months. Start casting in the fall for newcomers. Production start in early 2014, say January to April. You'll have a full year for post production.

Ron, you probably didn't notice it, but there was a small wink to Booster Gold in MoS.

UPDATE: Director Zack Snyder officially announced that Batman will indeed appear in his follow-up to "Man of Steel." He revealed a logo for the movie that combines Superman's "S" shield (yes, we know it's not an "S") with the Bat-symbol, which notably looked different than the one in Christopher Nolan's trilogy. They also used a quote from Frank Miller's groundbreaking graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns" where Batman and Superman engage in a fight to the finish. Batman says, "I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you." So we can assume that the two icons won't be getting along in the new movie. Henry Cavill is definitely returning, as are Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, but Batman has yet to be cast.

The Frank Miller novel is suppose to serve as inspiration, but not the basis of the plot.

SPOILER

SPOILER

SPOILER

SPOILER

Standing by and watching his dad die without lifting a finger to help?

Not showing any emotion towards the destruction of two cities and the endangerment of life (the villain has to threaten to kill someone directly before he shows that he gives a shite about anyone but his mother).

And the ridiculous finale to the movie.

Great performance, but they wrote Superman as an a-hole.

Still. A huge misstep to launch this thing as Superman VS Batman.

You clearly missed the part when Clark started to move to save him, but Mr. Kent said no

You clearly don't know the Superman character if you think he allows people to commit suicide in front of him.

Really it was just dumb of Pa Kent to not let Clark do all that. Regardless, he's not getting killed, and any destruction he can do will be immediately covered up by the tornado.

You clearly don't understand that this incarnation of the character isn't the other incarnations of the character.

Could you imagine if Zod discovered that Kal-El was here when he was a teen? Do you know how much pressure that would have put on Clark even if Zod didn't catch wind of him that early? His classmates already knew he was different, but they kept it hush hush.

Anyways, you aren't paying attention. This is Batman VS. Superman, it's Superman AND Batman. I'm sure they'll butt heads, coming from different backgrounds and having different outlooks, but they'll be protagonists.

Oh really? Seems like that's the impression that they're trying to make:

"I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you."

That's a line from Frank Miller's novel. They said that novel will survive as an inspiration for the movie.

Like I said, I'm sure they'll butt heads, but they aren't going to be having their own little clash of the titans bit. WB knows better, Snyder knows better, and Goyer knows better. Besides, neither character is going to get killed off before Justice League.

What they'll probably do is have Batman bring Superman down a peg or two. Yeah you may be a God and all, but you can bleed and a human can make you do so.

So now that we know which films are next, let's discuss who you would like to see as Batman and the Flash?
