Distortion/overdrive Pedals

I'm looking to get a distortion/overdrive pedal for the ole SG. Leaning towards a Metal Muff with Top Boost, really like the sound. Anybody own one or got a better suggestion?

Boss SD-1 (Overdrive or boost only)

Boss DS-1

Dunlop Fuzz Face (although there are a lot of choices and they get pricey)

Damn some of those sound really good. I've kind of fallen in love with the Electric Brown.

Sounds like something my dad would've said in high school

I've messed around with one of her pedals briefly. I think the stimulus? I liked it.

I've had pretty good luck running a boss ds2 into a big muff pi. I like the ds2 for light distortion. I can get some great sounds out of the combo though. Flip the ds2 into turbo (which sucks alone) and hit the muff.

Depending on what sounds you are going for I would also recommend the Menatone Red Snapper. I had one for a while and sold it and I'm still kicking myself for it. Pretty versatile pedal that you can get some great sounds from.

I bet she does. I just wish she would do a better job of demoing her pedals. Thank goodness for YouTube.

Yeah. She sounds half retarded and her demos are all over the place.
