What happen to the Fullback recruit from MS. that impressed in the June camp? Did he return for teh big camp? If so, I assume he did not get his offer?

I think you are thinking about the lb from GA. He's either going to Ohio St or Bama.

No, Raekwon is from MS and is probably one of if not the top FB we are looking at for this class.

I think it's not only a matter of evaluating the right one, but also evaluating if we want to give a scholarship for a FB in this class when we have so many special players at every position pushing numbers.

Clark or Chark? Clark is undoubtedly a DE and i dont think think Chark has the size. I think Upchurch is perfect for fb though. He could give us legititament(sp?) offensive production at rb as well as blocking. That is almost extinct in football and we should bring it back. Nobody would see it coming i tell ya!

Clark is the one pure DE in this class. It is very unlikely that he will play FB ever.

A guy the coaching staff considers very special with great athleticism and hands. Yet you want to put him at FB.

Being a capable blocking WR is way different than being a lead FB.

Tony Upchurch and Melvin Jones to fullback would be a HUGE waste of talent. Can't believe people still keep recommending this. Good thing the coaching staff knows better than this.

The staff wants the FB to be able to catch, run routes, run the ball, and be a threat in the passing & running games. They would rather the FB be more than just someone who blocks.

which is what I was thinking also. Although, i'd rather at this point give a FB a scholly than another DB, especially safety. we have a lot and even more next year
