Have a few days. I know I've seen some knowledgable folks on this subject before.
Thanks

Zushi Puzzle on Lombard is a great sushi joint. House of Nanking is a wonderful, casual family run Chinese place. Caffe Sport is an old school Sicilian style Italian joint with good food and unique atmosphere. You'll get plenty of other recs and do a search, you'll find several threads.

I just got back and had an amazing meal at State Bird Provisions. It won the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant and it exceeded the hype. Most items are not listed on their menu but are instead passed around table side for you to view and decide if you want to order them. Such a cool restaurant.

Use the search function. Quite a few requests on San Fran lately.
For me, I like Perbacco in Financial Dist. Plus, Chris Cosentino has a few places that are very well thought of. Great dining town.
