I've had them once in New Orleans and once at Tiger Deauxnuts in BR and they are fantastic IMO.

Just had one and it was really good. The bacon has to be slightly over cooked so that it gives crunch to each bite.

Yeah, it's all in the bacon. I had one with chewy bacon and it was very disappointing.
