what a prediction!!!!

everyone, write this down: UltimateHog said it first, GTA V will release on the next generation consoles.

who would've possibly guess that RockStar would want to double their profits by releasing it on the next generation console.

brilliant Hog, fricking brilliant.

According to a recent interview with MCV, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, has stated that fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have been waiting on the latest installment of the blockbuster hit, Grand Theft Auto V for years, and he expects there to be enormous consumer demand, thanks to the excess of 120 install base of the current generation of consoles.

In addition, Zelnick has also stated that regardless of when the next-generation consoles are going to be released, he believes that the absence of Grand Theft Auto V from the next-generation consoles wont have any real impact on the sales of Grand Theft Auto V, which is set to also be featuring the largest, most dynamic, and diverse open-world that Rockstar Games has created thus far.

0/10, trying too hard.

Have to learn to be more subtle if you're going to troll my posts.

Just trying to help you out for the future. My first thought reading that was casty.

That's awesome. You gotta appreciate a developer being honest.

The damn video is up to 7.5 million views already. It was 6 million after just 1 day

Kojima is pretty hard on himself. He said something similar after seeing "The Division" at E3.

I thought [Metal Gear Solid V] received a good reaction, but after seeing Ubisoft’s [TomClancy's] The Division I felt I have to work harder. At E3 we’re fighting against the powerhouses of the whole world.

In the past GTA games have impressed me more technically than from a gameplay or narrative perspective. However, this idea of being able to switch between characters who may be up to insane shenanigans, has me really interested.

I also hope they can deliver on their promise of being able to craft your plan for heists. Games are best when the player can be creative about how they tackle a problem.

I really love Metal Gear but I've also "grown up" with it. I do wonder what I would think of it if I was trying to get into it right now, with fresh eyes.

Having said that, if you want to dive in, here is your chance.

I'd love to hear what you think of it if you take the plunge.

Already on my amazon wish list. I probably still have the original nes game laying around. I wasn't Into it as a kid but back then I was all Zelda. Is it a stealthy game?

Yes, it's mostly a stealth game and combat is typically pretty clunky, probably intentionally so.

In most of the games you can't go "Screw this! I'm just going to play it like Gears of War and pop these guys." That won't work and it's not meant to.

However, you have a lot of options even within the constraints of the stealth mechanic, especially in MGS 3.

You have been helpful. Have you been posting on the gaming board a lot or have I just never noticed you?

Thanks! I've lurked for a long time on several of the boards but only just recently started posting more and almost exclusively here, on the Gaming board.

Well, I wouldn't call that a fight, but we certainly don't agree and that's fine. He's full of a lot of passion and I can respect that. At the very least it keeps things lively around here.

Hey gamers, what's the deal with this shed business being posted all over reddit?

Seems some mystery shed has gamers all up in arms. What gives?

It's just some building at the top of a mountain that a Redditor noticed from the trailer. They remarked with a screen grab that they were heading to "that shack" as soon as they got the game and since then speculation of what's in it has gone kind of viral.

I think it's more of a joke than anything, though it would be really cool if Rockstar took notice and put something awesome in it before the game's release.
