While I will agree Buck Dharma does not get the respect he deserves, this is hardly the "Best Guitar Solo Ever". I saw BOC open for Rush April 20, 1986 in Charlotte. They put on a great show, but "BD is god"?, not so sure.

I prefer BD;'s solo on Astronomy. What the hell, the guy is a kick arse guitarist, although he's rarely mentioned in Top 50, Top 100 best guitarist lists. What possessed him to wear that little monkey outfit though? His wife or gf shoulda told him not to wear that thing on stage.

Best Ever is a really tough saying. It differs with how I feel I guess or how much I had to drink.

really hard to choose the best ever, but some really good ones,
Zeppelin-Heartbreaker Start listening at around 2:00

Almost any Stevie Ray, but one of my favorites, SRV-Crossfire Start listening at about 1:56

Then just about all Hendrix songs ever have at least pretty good solos

I saw them during that era, perhaps 1981 or 1982. They were an incredible live act - it is just unfortunate I was not fully versed in their music at the time, or I would have enjoyed the show even more.

Godzilla was a fun time, for sure, during their live shows of the time.

Free Bird

The jam at the end wasnt in the original cut.

It took a great song to legendary status.
