Both are very similar players. Each was a top 10, 5* and both were potentially the top player in their class.. I think Collins might be a little better of an athlete and a little lighter on his feet, while Robinson is a little bigger at this stage of his life.

So, who do you think was the better prospect? And who will be the better player?

Robinson is the better prospect but this is not a good idea to compare in my opinion.

Why do you say that??

Both were considered top 1-2 tackles in their class. Both top 8 players in the nation and 5 *. Both play LT. Very comparable players...

I think Robinson has better potential for being a once every decade type left tackle. While Collins could certainly be a very good LT. I think his potential is greater at guard. Where he could be Carl Nicks elite.

So... we compare players and prospects on tigerdroppings just about everyday. Did anyone say anything mean or bashing the kid? No. Actually complete opposite of that. Not a bashing thread at all.

La'el is better in my opinion because at the time we really needed a big OL recruit and he helped with getting Jeremy Hill

Another CR thread....this is LC all over again. LSU fans bickering back and forth about a player coming here....

this recruitment feels too similar to dismiss. JMO but i think the guys a goner.

He's the best I've seen in high school. Everytime he comes off on a run block he collapses the entire line. He's better than Whitworth, Day, Reed, Smalling, Pittard...he's the best to ever come out of WM at the OL position.

I've never seen a kid block three people at once. I've seen Cam do it double digit times. Just take the DE and drive him into the OLB and DT. It's pretty amazing honestly.

I did in HS......it has a little to do with luck versus slip blocking to the next level....I'd reach block on the DT who stacked the NG then slipped to MLB.

On topic: comparing a HS kid to a letterman is reckless as Robinson may never get there due to a variety of possible reasons.
