OB..Questions about licensing in the state of Georgia....

I have not hunted in years but I fish and I have SC and NC fishing licenses. My Uncle owns some property in the Northeast GA Mountains and its prime deer and turkey land and great trout streams. He says that they never see Ole GW there and since it's private I can hunt and fish with no license. As you all know, out of state licenses get expensive and this will be the only outdoor trip I will have for this area this year. Its four hours form my house. The GA DNR is very vague, anyone have any information?

See here in SC if you are on a private pond they don't require a fishing license and I think the same is for hunting (not sure). Just didn't want to spend $110 for a one weekend hunt that could turn out to be nothing.

You can get a 3-day license. Big game is an addition $100 iirc.

most hunting land is private most fishing holes are public.
They couldnt even pay greenjeans if you didnt have to have hunt lic on private land

If you hunt you have to have a license.
