Anyone checked this out? Watched yesterday and liked enough to buy it. It's a different kind of movie but Michael Cera was just money in it. Just wondering the consensus on the board.

Scott Pilgrim was a fricking gem that was entirely too misunderstood (by people like the poster above, I imagine). It was supposed to be over the top.

Cera's hilarious today too. He may show it more through his writing though.

Its a movie thats gotten better with time imo.

The ending song of the movie is fantastic.

Great movie. First one I owned on Blu Ray.

Lots of great jokes and references to video games/nostalgia for the kids of my generation.

I think that was the idea. I thought it was pretty decent.

I'm pretty sure I caught a Scott Pilgrim vs. the World joke in an episode of the new AD either the second to last or last episode.

I didn't love it, but it was definitely interesting/entertaining.

In my opinion, probably the best comedy made so far this decade, and one of the most quotable comedies of all time. Almost made my top 40 of MWADS.

it's a quality movie, imo. i love the video game references throughout and that's also the movie where i first saw anna kendrick. i know a lot of folks think she's average looking for a movie star, but there's just something about her that gives me that old fashioned romantic feeling where i'd do anything to bone her.

Well, it's the point of the film. Definitely the closest they've gotten to the feel and look of an actual comic book.

It really is fantastic, can watch it over and over. So many good side roles from characters as well. Kieran Culkin is hilarious as his roommate, Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans are great, as are the whole vegan police group episode bit.

And of course so many great video game references.
