Is Gattis our first half MVP?

In games he has played, the Braves are 32-21. In all others, they are 15-13.

Is Walker working with Simmons at all on balancing himself out a bit? Serious question. They talk about how he works with Uggla on keeping his swing level, BJ on getting rid of a lot of his leg movement, etc. Seems like a big reason Simmons pops out so often is his swing is so unbalanced that he is falling into the left hand batters box half the time.

Just imagine how much better we would be if we had Brandon Belt on our team.

I know I'm just talking to myself in here, but does anyone else think BJ Upton is just a selfish hitter?
3-1, pitcher is obviously struggling and you try and lift a borderline strike to right field for an easy pop up. How about just put solid wood on the ball instead if trying to crush it 400 ft
