if burke is 80% of what CP3 was...i think he is worth the 6th pick

Never said he wasn't worth the 6th pick this year, but I just don't think his skills correspond to the Paul comparisons. Burke might be half of what Paul is though, but remember that CP3 is one of the best PGs to ever play the game. Not fair to throw comparisons like that around so lightly.

You probably should have prefaced those stats with what you just posted. It came across as a response to Zoombop heavily promoting Burke.

Smart? Love that dude and he has the same body type as me

Next year when smart drops because of all the talent coming in.... we get

Smart/Rivers
EG or trade for someone/Vasquez
Shabazz or someone similar/ryno
AD/ryno/smith
Len/smith

Who? I'm interested.

And I agree that Burke will be able to play.

Oh, right Marcus Smart. Wow that one went over my head haha. I want to reserve judgement for him after he plays next season. After one year though, I'm not sure he was quite the 1st tier player that Paul was. However, the tools are there for him to be if he can improve offensively.

i didnt think i did...i just said 80% of an all time great sounds like a bargain in "one of the weakest drafts" in NBA history. The only comparison i made directly linking the two was if we drafted them burke would once again be on the better team...that was in reference to their college situations though....not individual talent.

You didn't, sorry if I made it seem that way. I was more just making a general comment on everyone's comparisons of the two.

And tony Parker at the moment I think Irving and has potential but right night Paul is in a different class.

All I'm saying is there's no one in the draft or recent drafts that compares to Paul. He's in his own class

Like I said the games so different in college it's hard to know who's gonna be a star at the PG position.

I'm praying it's CJ. His effiency on a scrub team was pretty impressive.

is 13 still a pipe dream...? does anyone know if that was nothing more than a rumor to get people pumped...any chance that we can pull off that trade?...just curious...i know marion's thoughts on the matter.

I want Len badly. None of the other pg/sf prospects are the prototypes of their assumed nba position like Len is.

7'1" athletic with 6'10" athletic AD. That is much more exciting than anything else for me

Yes, he did shed him. He decided to step back for the shot to avoid a double-team on the baseline.
