shite, somewhere between 3 and 5 pm today I started liking Burke again.

probably around the time you forgot to take your damn pills

it's funny because mccollum's name went away on this board for a few days and was replaced by mclemore, and now it's back. no matter what happens tomorrow, about 75% of the people who come to post here are going to be upset. there will be many a "OMG WE SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED X INSTEAD OF Y" threads this upcoming season. i can see it now.

Y is an incomplete X, of course he'll bust.
BTW: did you email info for tomorrow yet, fear?

FINALLY!!!

An appreciation thread for McCollum's obvious talent.

Been petitioning for him since day 1!
I think he'll be a SG and will replace EG once we trade him for a SF, i.e. S/T with Chicago for Deng.

Dude's a serious threat from outside and is able to create his own shot with ease.

No...Dell did say that he would draft someone even if they only interviewed him.

McCollum is a combo guard that is more of a scorer. His offensive numbers are off the charts. Burke more of a "natural" PG. Well rounded. Both have question marks. Burke with athleticism and McCollum with level of competition. I personally am fine with either of them if Porter isn't there.

McCollum can create his own shot more easily off the dribble (won't have to be a pick-and-roll guy like Burke). McCollum may be more of a combo guard (though he could easily be just like Lillard as a lead guard) while Burke is a pure, classic point. Both can really shoot it with range.

I'm sure there are people who are more knowledgeable than me, but my understanding is that CJ McCollum is more of a scorer and his ball distribution still needs a bit of work. Burke I believe is seen as very balanced between scoring and passing.

McCollum torched Duke and Kansas while surrounded by inferior teammates.
