I know you guys might not like this but I thought it would be better to just post all the rumors in on official thread.
So here goes...

quote:

According to a source, the Celtics have a sign-and-trade offer ready for Atlanta forward Josh Smith that would be the top priority in free agency.

quote:

An NBA source with knowledge of the situation adamantly denied Tuesday that the Charlotte Bobcats are shopping small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as a trade commodity.

quote:

The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers have been discussing the possibility of completing a trade headlined by Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo and prized L.A. point guard Eric Bledsoe in conjunction with Thursday’s NBA draft, according to sources close to the process.

Feel free to post any other rumors...Go Pelicans &

My goodness I can't wait for Thursday. I truly hope that there is as much movement as we've been hearing in rumors.

Afflalo to LAC will pretty much lock up McLemore at the 2.

That's a great deal for both teams.

ORL will have a nice young core with Bledsoe, McLemore and Vucevic.

There won't be. It sounds like everyone is overvaluing their assets by a ton.

Either him or Dipo. Bledsoe and McLemore/Dipo is way better than Burke/Affalo. I'm really hoping the deal with the Clips doesn't happen, or Cleveland passes on Noel.

Can't forget about Harkless or Harris for Orlando. They're putting together a nice, young nucleus over there.

A few good points from Steve Kyler

quote:

A couple of draft comments... today is "drunk dial" day, teams will call and test another teams resolve. Don't get caught up in the hype.

This is the day where teams try & steal things from each other... some might actually bite on things being suggested. Reality hits tomorrow

Don't believe a lot of what you hear today.

RT @ajstarting5: ---> 10 teams control 36 picks, it won't end up that way, they will be moved around.

There will be first round movement, but probably more relevant to the Pelicans is there are quite a few teams with 2 or 3 2nd rounders. I'd be kind of surprised if we didn't buy one.

The Wizards have discussed a deal that would send Emeka Okafor and the pick to the Chicago Bulls for two-time All-Star small forward Luol Deng, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Andy Katz is doing his pre-draft interviews

so far McLemore, Len, Porter, and Bennett think they're going first overall

@ESPNAndyKatz: Interesting talk/interview with Alex Len. He said he thinks Cleveland trying to trade down to take him, OKC trying to trade up. (Atl too).

We heard OKC was trying to trade up into top 5, though their trade package was laughable. Doubt they have the ammunition to move up that far.

Haven't heard much in the way of ATL.

@ESPNAndyKatz: Trey Burke said he doesn't think he'll go below Sacramento at 7. Worked out for Orl (2), NO (6), Phx (5), talked to Detroit (8).

That had to be the same one based on their pick. Okafor alone for Deng is a steal. As a backup big on a cheap team (or any team), I'd figure Smiht at $2.5m has more value than Okafor at $14m.

Make it happen. Send them Eric Gordon for MKG, and draft Burke. Championship....

If they did trade him, it would most likely be after the draft anyway. Could you imagine them trading MKG thinking Porter was going to be there, and Washington either takes him, or trades the pick to someone else who takes them? Then again, it is the Bobcats...

Its not a rumor but McNamara has been going off on twitter for the last hour about how Burke is like Tebow and we shouldn't draft him

Don't see the comparisons at all. Not even close.

In other "news", according to Chad Ford, Bobcats GM is really pushing for Zeller.

Bobcats GM Rich Cho is a big Zeller fan. He's pushing that direction but getting resistance.

They supposedly brought Cho in because he wouldn't be a yes man. I guess the GOAT wanted to hear something different before making franchise wrecking decisions.
