Did Omaha kill College Baseballs quickly growing momentum?

I was just thinking back on the regionals and super regionals and how every single game was broadcast. You had great games on left and right and you couldn't watch them fast enough. Specifically our game with OU and many of UNCs games. Shoot outs and drama down to the last inning were everywhere.
But now that were in Omaha, it seems like all of that awesome momentum has all but disappeared. Uneventful, drawn out, low scoring games really killed my interest in continuing to watch. I doubt any real change will happen and some things have already even been discussed on here, but it just like a shame that all of that momentum seemed to all but disappear.
What do you think?

No.
The ball will be livelier next year and the TDA fences will be moved in. ESPN will continue to put money into it because they have more platforms and Bases Loaded was a rousing success.
College Baseball is heading in the right direction.

To me it seems like a big overrated pitcher circle jerk with the announcers
They can hang one and get an out at the warning track

Like Football they say that Defense wins games but Offense sells the Tickets!! People want to see action and not be bored to death!!

It definitely didn't help.
I hate that a 3 run lead in the fifth is pretty much ballgame at TDA

I've been thinking about this as well, but was not aware of the ball change next year, good to hear though. Really think they'll move fences in at TDA next year?

I think they will see how the minor league ball plays before they bring the fences in

It killed it for me. Outside of LSU I don't have much interest with these dead bats.

Bring back the old bats! The composite Stealths were badass.

First batter of the game sticking his leg in the zone to get hit by a pitch and umps not calling them on it is garbage

I used to wreck worlds with these bad boys.

The 2nd gen stealth was better. With the composite handle. Raked with that one.

This
As awesome as they were, It's hard to believe how much MORE pop the 90's era gorilla ball bats had. I remember one of my coaches brought one to practice one day for the hell of it. As old & dead as it was, it was still on another level compared to the new bats (at the time).

The rules committee doesn't meet until 2014 so ball will not change in time for next season.
Who's paying to move in the fences? Omaha is already in hock for the new park.

Another shot just short of the warning track.
