4th anniversary of Michael Jackson's death (Appreciation Thread)

Disclaimer: This is a thread strictly about MJ's MUSICAL career. Really don't want to get into his controversial (to put lightly) personal life.
Last week some people on this board said "MJ wasn't a musician, he was just a singer and dancer" or something along those lines. Completely ignorant statement. While Quincy Jones played a seminal role in perfecting MJ's classic Off The Wall/Thriller/Bad sound, Jackson himself developed plenty of songs from that era. This Billie Jean demo was written, composed, performed , and recorded all by Jackson before Quincy even touched it.
Thriller is of course one of the most famous albums of all time but I think Off The Wall is just as good
My top 15
15. Never Can Say Goodbye
14. Off the Wall
13. Get It Together - very underrated funk
12. Get on the Floor
11. The Way You Make Me Feel
10. Dancing Machine - the breakdown is legendary
9. P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) - love the vocoder work
8. Workin' Day and Night
7. Thriller
6. Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)
5. Beat It - Getting Eddie Van Halen on board was a really interesting crossover collaboration and sounded great
4. Wanna Be Startin' Something - how epic is "Mama-say mama-sah ma-ma-coo-sah???"
3. Don't Stop Til You Get Enough
2. Billie Jean - that bassline
1. I Want You Back

If it wasn't for MJ we wouldn't even have a music board. No Daft Punk, no 2 Chains, no Munford and Sons.........

MJ's music touched us all, even the children.

Absolutely. He has nothing to do with this dead creep's sexual abuse of children.

My 2nd child was born the day he died... which is the 26th.
Literally in the delivery room there was a tv on playing his videos as my wife pushed out a child. Pretty weird... kinda like MJ.

You should give do a test on him like Tibetan children, see if he shows any interest in a single bejazzled glove or stack of bricks.
You may have a money-maker on your hands.
