The Europeans are so far behind Americans when it comes to concussions. How did they let him stay in?

We had a few decent shots on goal, but all were straight into Howard's arms. siggy had probably it best chance.

He was knocked out, and literally didn't know where he was when he woke up. Damn.

He was like a crazy grandpa demanding to go back in. You see that stuff from player all of the time, and the trainer is supposed to say no.

Well so much for my prediction of the offense waking up. I can't believe how much we struggle scoring. We wouldn't even need a great offense with the defense we play.

AVB needs to take blame.

The team needs those quick combinations that leave space in the attacking third. I don't know how much other soccer you guys watch, but matching City is depressing after watching us. So many real chances.

Watching Arsenal Saturday made me realize that Spurs have no creativity when attacking. It was really sad watching them create chance after chance and we only get 2 or 3 good opportunities per game.

Exactly. We would have to be converting 80% of our chances if we were going to be scoring enough goals. The problem isn't converting chances. The problem is creating them in the first place.

Also, I figure we could have landed Ozil from Real Madrid if we would have taken less money for Bale... That would have been extremely helpful.

Ozil was never gonna go to a non-champions league team.

Another striker will definitely need to be added in January. Benteke would be great.

It really hurts not getting Willian, Lamela is not going to the get the time to mesh with Townsend playing the way he is. Willian could be starting on the left.

Also, Dembele needs not to be playing. When Capoue comes back Dembele should not see the pitch in league play.

I think Dembele is good. I just don't think he's better than Paulinho, and you can't play them together.

I agree on Willian. We needed that creativity. I don't see the point of getting Benteke until I see us creating chances for our strikers.

How is Benteke on set pieces and crosses? I think we need a striker that can go up and win headers on these plays. Our offense relies a lot on crosses but Soldado isn't the kind of striker to go up and beat defenders on headers.
