I have two 6870 cards, a sapphire and an HIS. Neither card is OC'd. I am currently only running on the sapphire. Will I have any problems using different brands? Also, will my power supply support both of these cards? I ordered two of these because there aren't enough 6 pin power connectors on my PSU.

TIA for any advice.

brand doesnt matter as much as engine, so that shouldnt be a problem for you.
the power supply however probably isnt enough to run a pair of 6870s. you need to be @ 800W to be safe.

eta: a lot of recommendations will show a good 650W unit, but i really think you should err on the side of caution and go big. nothing sucks more than overloading your psu and have it take out a few components.

and i actually had that game when i was a kid

You'll be fine xfiring with any cards within the same "series."

You can xfire any 68xx series card together.

You're PSU will probably be enough, but not enough for OC'ing. I was running OC'd 7950s on a 750w, and I'm pretty sure the 68xx series isn't very power hungry
