Really hope he gets them qualified

They have to win a home and home in the next round, though.

I hope he makes it too. It would mean a lot to the people of that country if they can qualify.

I would love to see him back as USMNT manager some day down the road. He is really showing what he is all about coaching this Egypt team. They have dealt with a ton of shite the past couple years and have done nothing but win.
I think Jurgen is doing a good job, but I don't think he will stick around long term, maybe 2 cycles.

Not many national teams are successful with the same coach for 2 world cup cycles.

Right. From what has been said though, Jurgen's plan is a "long term" one, whatever that means. I could see him going into more of an administrative role with US soccer after a couple of WC cycles.

Yeah I think he could come back to the US and work in an administrative role. Don't think he would coach the USMNT again, it was just time for a change when he left.

The next round of games in qualifying is going to be awesome in africa. 4 head to head matchups will decide who wins the group on the same day.
