Will CPM realize that trying to crush the ball at TD Ameritrade Park doesn't work and change his strategy any in the offseason to more of a small ball approach? As much as I hate small ball, it might have to be done. Gorilla ball doesn't work anymore.

The difference between Rosenblatt and the new park has forced that change.

yes, everytime a fly ball is hit it means the players are swinging for the fences and that the coach is telling them to do so. Goddamn we have some stupid fans. My wife has probably forgotten more baseball than you know.

Ridiculous. We don't need to play small ball. We need to hit in the clutch. We had tons of guys in scoring position today, couldn't get them in. Small ball won't help you with that.

UNC did not play small ball today. I haven't seen Mississippi State play much small ball either. They just get the hits when needed. We did not do that. When Rhymes came up for his last bat, and swung at the first ball pitched, just to hit another pop-up, I just shook my head. Patience at the plate might help more than small ball.

OK, maybe he should atleast get a hitting coach that tries to emphasis patience and not swinging at crap pitches.

SEC doesn't play small ball, so I don't think this is an issue. TD Ameritrade is a different park then Rosenblatt. USCe wasn't a small ball team. Perhaps Arizona was last year. Don't know yet. If we don't make errors, we are at least 1-1 now, not 2 and q.
