Middle of the order is killing us.

The Tigers are fighting, but our best hitters are having a horrible CWS with the exception of Katz. Bregman has looked like a HS player, and Rhymes is just in a slump!!

The team has struggled all season against great pitching. This is not a new phenomenon of low offensive production.

9th inning was same-o, same-0. Worst performance in CWS by an LSU team ever IMHO!

Don't know which is worse. Bregmann & Rhymes going 0-17 along with critical error against UCLA, or the refusal of CPM to bunt with runner on 1st & 0 outs, or the crappy approach at the plate with hitters not taking a strike when trailing in the late innings. I think you gotta hang this around Maneri's neck.
