I'm giving it about three episodes. If it looks like it's going to be awful I think I'm going to finally hang it up.

This. Really enjoyed the show initially. Now it's a chore. Going from GoT to this crap makes it even worse .

I think this is where I am too. GoT and Boardwalk Empire have spoiled me.

I'll still watch TB, though....

I just like having a show I look forward to. This isn't on the same level of GOT but it'll have to do. It wasn't all bad last night. Got to see some tittays.

It's a guilty pleasure type show for me. I enjoy it but it's not something I would ever watch with my wife. Looking forward to the new season.

100% agree with you and BluegrassBelle. Going from watching the best show on TV to watching True Blood is a huge bummer. I haven't watched the S6 premiere episode yet .

It's sad because I used to look forward to watching True Blood and the past 2 season or so it's been a chore to watch it; that's why I think True Blood needs to just end it/should've announced that this season would be the last.

IMO, it reached its peak in Season 2 with the Godric eposides.

this show is now beyond bad. It as if it is a parod of itself. The only reason I watch now is to see the T&A although there is a painful price to be paid even for that with all of the man on man scenes they force down our throats. I will tune in this season when it is convenient but I certainly won't DVR or shed any tears if a miss a few episodes.

I'm giving it 2 more episodes.

Man that shite was terrible last night. I started a new series. Watched 2 episodes of Boss with Kelsey Grammer, then watched this shite. They don't compete. Boss is incredible acting. TB is absolutely terrible.

I've watched every episode, and will agree that the last 2 seasons have gotten pretty bad.

1) The wolf parts are downright laughable. Alcid is a shite actor, and anytime one of those turds growls, i laugh. Anything to do with the werewolves is completely terrible acting.
2) Same with the vampires. Stop growling when you get angry. You look like a jackass.
3) Tara is possibly the worst actress, and her "master" is unbearable to watch anymore. It's just a bunch of bitching.
4) When sookie "rescinded" her invitation to eric...that was just plain stupid. The sound effects and shitty special fx are terrible.

I think this is as far as i will go this season. I'm giving it 2 more episodes, then i'm jumping ship and will continue with Boss, and maybe start up breaking bad.

I thought Boss was cancelled after last season. I agree about the terrible-ness of TB.

There is a season 2.

Dammit, just checked. It did get cancelled. Of course shite like true blood and Treme' will never die, but Boss gets cancelled.

Was I seeing things or did the redheaded waitress have her fake knockers removed?

I'm stoked about this season. Loved the opener. Looks like it'll be a wild ride. Their choice for Warlow was perfect. Hauer can be creepy as shite. It's a guilty pleasure for me. I just turn my mind off while watching it and enjoy the absurdity. And this is coming from someone who thinks The Wire is the best television show ever. And it is a stark contrast going from Game of Thrones to this in one week.

I can see Jason becoming some kind of Don Quixote type vampire slayer.

BTW the Boardwalk previews look awesome.

And I'm at this point too. Also with Mad Men and The Killing (yes, even The Killing) on the same night it'll probably be something I DVR and watch when I have the time. I'll give them credit where credit is due in that the premiere was decent but I really wish they'd start wrapping things up with this show. And I love seeing Alcide's naked arse on the regular, so it's difficult for me to come with grips on how I feel right now.

I had to tell my wife to calm down after that part

btw, it's been awhile since I watched last season. What was the deal with Sam's slam piece's daughter, and how did the mom die? Completely drawing a blank on that one.

Agreed that they need to wrap things up with True Blood and that this should really be the last season, although I think they're going to squeeze a Season 7 and should not exceed 7 seasons.

FWIW I don't think the viewer ratings for True Blood are as high as they once were. I guarantee you that more people watch GoT now than TB.
